The Department of Immigration and Border Protection is currently receiving very high numbers of student visa applications.
Make sure that you include ALL necessary documents with your application or your application’s processing will face delays and maybe even refusal. Remember to include plenty of evidence to show that you have enough money to support yourself while you are in Australia, that you are a genuine temporary entrant to Australia, and especially don’t forget to arrange your certificate of enrollment and your student health cover before applying for the visa.
The Department is managing the peak processing period and lodgements continue to increase. Between 1 September 2016 and 30 November 2016 we have already granted over 80,300 student visas (an increase of 19.3 per cent when compared to the same period in 2015). To assist us in peak processing periods, you should submit complete applications with all supporting documents attached.
