10 year Australian Frequent Traveler Visitor Visa trial may be extended

Trial 10-year Frequent Traveler Visitor visa in China is underway and may become regularly available if successful

On 12 December 2016 a limited trial of a new 10-year ‘Frequent Traveler’ Visitor visa began for  people who hold passports from the People’s Republic of China and are applying for the visa from within China. The visa allows multiple entries of up to three months stay for tourist or business visit purposes. Applicants must first provide biometrics identifiers (electronic fingerprints and photograph) at an Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in China before lodging an application online. Whilst the current trial for this visa is already heavily booked, if the trial is successful the visa will be offered to other applicants and passport holders from other countries. The cost of the visa is AUD $1000. We look forward to bringing you more on this story as it develops.
